The Christmas Collections progressed to South Harrow and Hatch End on the weekend of 9-11 December 2011, and here we see some members of the team at Morrisons, Hatch End and Waitrose, South Harrow (in alphabetical order, left to right). We had a good turn out from the Club given the cold and wet weather during the weekend, especially as this year we were booked to cover more than one venue at a time.
With the difficult economic situation in the country, we knew that we would have to limit our expectations. The support of members of the public at both Morrisons and Waitrose never ceases to amaze us, and their generosity exceeded our expectations. On behalf of all the members of the Rotary Club of Northwick Park, we thank the staff and management at Marrisons, Hatch End and at Waitrose, South Harrow for their help and support over the weekend, and we most especially thank all the members of the public who so generously supported the charitable work of the Rotary Club of Northwick Park.
