The club sent its team of enthusiastic horticulturalists to the garden at the centre of Northwick Park Hopsital over the weekend of 29-30th October 2011 for our normal autumn tidy up. With a welcome dry spell, the work proceeded quickly and soon the garden was looking a lot smarter. The trees are continuing to grow and this is starting to make it harder to choose a bedding scheme that is colourful and at the same time does well in the shade. Perhaps a expert reading this will let us have a list of suitable plants for this sort of bedding, although we would request that there are no jokes about hospital bedding please!
