Two members of our Club, Dick and Helen, have started on a Fundraising Road Show for the Charity Felsted Aid (www.felstedaid.org). They are pictured here during a visit to the Rotary Club of Barnet on Monday 10th October 2011. Felsted Aid deliver aid they collect in the UK to The Revival Centre in Chernigiv (www.rcn.org.ua) in the Ukraine. The Revival Centre concentrates on providing a multi-disciplinary approach to the care of children with genetic disorders resulting from the Chernobyl nuclear explosion in 1986. 25 years is a long time, but the disorders are appearing now in the children of those born after the explosion. Our Club is due to get a talk on the subject next week, so please keep an eye on this web site.
