Many members of the club joined by members of nearby clubs met at the Hooper’s home for a monster breakfast as part of our fundraising activities for International Service. Starting with a selection of cereals and juices, and then on to a full grill, followed by toast and marmalade washed down with fresh coffee or tea, there was a full breakfast in every sense of the phrase. Some Rotarians however were challenged when it came to operating the toaster, whilst others quickly learnt what was needed to get rapid results from a commercial toaster. Our thanks go to David and Angela for hosting the event and to Sydney and Lucille for all their hours of hard work over the griddle.
