On Wednesday 7th December, several members of the Club went to our local Waitrose supermarket where some excellent news was waiting for them. The store manager then produced this enormous cheque for £225.00 made payable to the Rotary Club of Northwick Park. The funds will be used by the Rotary Club of Northwick Park for their Kids Out Day on Wednesday 13th June 2012, when they club takes a number of children with a variety of disabilities out to a theme park. The Club would like to express its appreciation to the Management of Waitrose for being allowed to participate in the Green Disc Scheme, and to the customers at Waitrose who placed their green discs in the container with our project label on it.
