Members of the Club assembled on 20 July 2011 at the home of Sandy and George Myrants for a summer barbecue with the principal guests being the London Youth Exchange Camp participants. Sadly the weather failed to oblige and we all had to shelter under the awnings and sunshades even to take a photograph! Sandy laid on a sumptuous feast and Mo and Dick obliged with the gas-fired grill in the garden. The usual team led by Doug set up the gazebos earlier in the day, and saw to their coming down once things had dried up a little. Despite the poor weather, we all had a great time and got to know the young visitors to London a little better. President Pushi gave a vote of thanks to all those that had helped on the evening, and this was warmly supported by all those present.
