On Wednesday 23 January our speaker was explorer Matthew Traver.
In October/November 2012, Matt and his friend Jamie Maddison, completed an approximately 200km horseback ride in Western Mongolia.
The main purpose of the trip was to gain horseriding experience in preparation for their One Steppe Ahead expedition to take place later this year.
Matt showed us a good number of stills and videos of their trek accross Mongolia, which ended near to the Chinese border.
This was a very interesting talk which was well presented and enjoyed by us all.
