A food bank has come to Harrow, a leafy suburb of North West London. As the economic outlook continues to be a cause for concern, the Rotary Club of Northwick Park has teamed up with the Trussell Trust (www.trussell.org) to work with the Harrow Food Bank on helping those in a crisis in our community.
You can view the shopping list by Clicking Here. It is recommended that you print off the shopping list and take it with you when you next go to the supermarket. BUT, please wait until the food bank is open and collecting food from the supermarkets in June 2013.
One of our members, David, is the contact person with the food bank and has been busy getting the organisation set up. The other members of the Club are right behind him on this important community project.
