The Rotary Club of Northwick Park met on Sunday 17 August 2014 for its annual International Lunch.
The idea is that members of the Club prepare a dish from another country and bring the dish to the International Lunch. With a modest entry charge and a raffle, the event is always a successful fund raiser that relies on service from the members. This year more than £630 was raised for a treatment centre for children in the Ukraine.
This year there were dishes from (in alphabetical order) Austria, Australia, Belgium, Denmark, France, Greece, Germany, India, Italy, Morocco, Pakistan, Poland, Spain, Turky Ukraine, and USA.
The entertainment was provided by a duo who sang and played for the whole event, and our Guests of Honour were our District Governor, David Palmer and Jenny.
