On Wednesday 14 November, members of the Club were kindly granted permission to collect for charities at the Morrisons Supermarket in Hatch End.
The day was not particularly bright, but it was not too cold and club members were kept warm by the customers visiting the store.
The day was judged a great success, and a significant sum was collected – just over £500 – which will be used to fund our projects in the local community for youth, for the aged and for the infirm.
President Eric thanked Morrisons for their kind permission as well as thanking all the customers for their generous support.
