Our Club’s work supporting Ukrainian refugees arriving in Moldova has been recognised in the local press.
The Harrow Times (https://www.harrowtimes.co.uk/) published on Thursday 17 November 2022 featured the Club’s work loading aid, worth tens of thousands of pounds, prior to shipment to Moldova. The aid was funded by donations from local people in Harrow, by local Rotary Clubs, and by the Rotary Foundation’s Ukraine Disaster Response Fund, and shipped through UK-AID (https://www.uk-aid.org/)
Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Northwick Park were also involved in loading the main truck in Essex before it set off for Moldova, as shown below.
