Our meeting on Wednesday 12 April 2023 was to have been a normal Club Business Meeting, but Easter happened instead of the Club Council Meeting, resulting in there being no reports to discuss at the Club Business Meeting.
Instead of having the usual reports from all of the ‘departments’ in the Club, we had an interesting proposal in connection with one of the international projects that our Club supports. The project concerns Lend With Care (https://lendwithcare.org/) – a charity that supports entrepreneurs in developing countries, where small sums of money can often provide the working capital necessary to start a new business. The Club agreed to the proposal, and we look forward to hearing about this interesting development.
Added to that, we all had a chance to catch up on news concerning our members, and the opportunity to discuss forthcoming events during the remainder of 2023.
