Our meeting on Wednesday 12 June 2024 was an on-line business meeting with a strong emphasis on Youth for the coming Rotary Year. Amongst the activities discussed was the Kids Out Day visit to Paradise Wildlife Park, a visit to a Zippo circus near us, an outgoing Youth Exchange student and a New Generations Service Exchange candidate.
We also had updates on our aid items collections for the Child Treatment Centre in Ukraine, and the North London Rotary Disability Games planned for October 2024.
We had reports on visits to other Rotary Clubs including a visit by one member to Romania for an international meeting being hosted by the Rotary Club of Cluj-Napoca there.
Added to that, we have the prospect of a new member or two to start the new Rotary Year. Attendance at the meeting was also good at 77% and the meeting lasted just 25 minutes!
