Cheryl Law PDG Wendover and District Club, GB&I Foundation specialist Advisor Team, gave an overview of the global poliovirus situation showing both countries with remaining cases of wild poliovirus (WPV) and countries affected by outbreaks of circulating vaccine-derived poliovirus (cVDPV).

Cheryl demonstrated her passion for both the Rotary Foundation and the End Polio Plus campaign.Rotary’s involvement in this campaign was highlighted. Her call to action to all to continue to fundraise for the polio eradication programme included information about The Polio Plus Society.
Visiting Rotarians and partners ,and Northwick Park’s Global Scholar Dieki, and Hendon Rotary Club Scholar Gary also attended.
A raffle for the Polio Campaign raised £380 which will be tripled by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
