On Saturday 20 April 2024, the Rotary Club of Northwick Park took a pitch at the Kenton Street Market in Kenton Road to see what could be gained. The Market is part of the Welcome Back Campaign being organised through Harrow Council.
Our stall was offering leaflets on Rotary, and an open invitation to come and visit the Club combined with some games to entice those who fancied their chances at Play Your Cards Right, or at the Rotary Rat Trap.
The weather on the day obliged except for a cold northerly wind, but all those involved were happy with the event.
There are three such markets planned each year, and the other stalls were offering cooked food, fragrances, fashion and there were plenty of passers by on the busy road.
