A large number of members from the Club, with their partners, attended the Bagel Brunch held at the Parkers on Sunday 6 November 2011. There was the usual spread of bagels, smoked salmon, omlettes, danish pastries, tea and coffee, and for the first time this year – a brand new crepe machine! In addition to members from our own club, there were members from many of the clubs in the north of London and judging by the level of noise from the conversations, a good time was had by all. Our thanks go to Sydney and Lucille, our hosts, who had worked very hard to prepare all the food, and special thanks go to their grandchildren who helped ensure that everything ran smoothly. As in previous years, the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Rotary Foundation, a charity which supports the work of Rotarians around the world.
