On a warm and balmy evening on 28 March 2012, 20 members of the Club attended the Paul Harris Fellowship Dinner at the Imperial Hotel in central London. The dinner is a celebration evening rather than a fundraising event, and it was also an opportunity for the Club to promote its Charity Dinner Dance on 29th April 2012 – with the permission of the organising Club, the Rotary Club of Barking. As well as the usual speeches and toasts, and recognition of some of the senior Rotarians present, we had a repeat visit from the Vocal Dimension Chorus, worth coming to hear on any occasion. Perhaps we will get the whole club there next year.
