Members of the Club took advantage of the fine weather to take a group of disadvantaged youngsters today to the Paradise Wild Life Park in Hertfordshire.
With 17 children and 7 carers, our team had their hands full, but as you can see in this photo, they were ever watchful.
The Kids Out day programme has been running for many years now, and Rotary’s involvement goes back a long way. There is a film of the Rotary Club of Southgate doing exactly this back in the 1940s.
Suitably refreshed/exhausted, they were back for our meeting by 19.45pm.
