Members of the Club got involved on Tuesday 01 November with another loading exercise, this time it was aid heading for the Ukraine. Although the country is much less in the news these days, the needs of the people there are still not being met.
Rotarians from all over London are collecting:
- Toiletries
- Nappies
- Soaps and Laundry Consumables
- Baby and Children’s Clothing
- Heavy winter outerwear for adults
- Children’s games and past-time materials
The goods are delivered to the home of one of our Club members and then are collected by Felsted Aid for Deprived Children, who run four convoys a year to Chernihiv in Ukraine. The van used by Felsted Aid was also funded by the Rotary Clubs in London in 2012.
