Wednesday 17 January 2018 was a business meeting of the Club.
Being January, we were a little light on news and announcements, but we received the reports from the fundraising over Christmas, and we voted for the Rotary International in Great Britain and Ireland President for 2019-2020.
There would be a collection of toiletries etc. for the Ukraine the following morning, there was an appeal for support at the Quiz the following evening, and a request for Counsellors for Rotary Scholars coming to London in September 2018.
There were updates on our Sports Teams, and the announcement that there would be a year-long Youth Exchange Student coming to our Club for 2018-19. We finished with a discussion on the bottle-tops project and on plans for our 40th Anniversary event on 29 September 2018.
