Members of the Club gave up their Thursday morning last week to start the process of tidying up the Rotary Garden at Northwick Park Hospital, and preparing the benches for a new coat of varnish.
Located in the centre of the hospital, the garden provides a quiet place to sit, watch the birds and contemplate either the good news or the sad news that the hospital has to offer its patients or next of kin.
There was plenty of work to do, and the Club is grateful for the help offered by Fred who lives locally.
