Our meeting on Wednesday 08 March 2023 was a Club On-line Business Meeting to looked forward to several key events in the coming months, and also to hear a review of our Club Supper Quiz Night held on 04 March 2022.
The Quiz Night looks to have cleared just over £1,000, subject to final expenses being sorted and resolved. This is an excellent result and is confirmation of the ideas and the hard work put in by all those involved. The principle beneficiary will be the Centre for ADHD and Autism Support in Ruislip (https://adhdandautism.org/).
Looking forward, the Club is having a scatter meeting for those not attending the presentation being given by Rotary International President, Jennifer Jones in Central London.
Following that we have a litter picking event on 29 March 2023, After that, we are planning a tea party near the date of the Coronation of King Charles.
In June, we hope to welcome back our International Lunch at the home of one of our members, with an aim of raising funds for our International Service.
All told, we have a lot to look forward to this year.
