On Saturday and Sunday 9-10 September 2022, members of the Club were kindly granted permission to collect for charities at the Morrisons Supermarket in Hatch End.
The two days saw glorious sunny weather, and the public were out in force. Club members were kept busy throughout their shifts at the store, and many customers engaged with our collectors..
The two days were judged a great success, and a significant sum was collected – more than £500 – for the Club Trust Fund which will be used to fund our projects in the local community at home and abroad for youth, for the aged and for the infirm. Members of the public donated most generously, taking advantage of the buckets, the card machine and the QR code on the posters.
President Mike and all the members thanked Morrisons for their kind permission as well as thanking all the customers for their generous support.
